Introducing ‘Fin Lux’ and his high defignition TVs

This week we’re putting Finlux TVs on Christmas Wish Lists all over Britain, with the introduction of our spokesman ‘Fin Lux’. A native of Finland, he has arrived in the UK in time for the high definition switch over next year.

The Finlux brand first appeared in 1964 and was later merged with Nokia’s TV business in 1992. During the late 90s and early noughties several efforts were made to retain manufacturing within Finland however, as the market swung towards flat-screen panels Finlux failed to switch in time.

The brand was picked up by Turkish electronics giant Vestel in 2006, who account for 21% of the total TV market in Europe, it now focuses on flat panel TVs and other consumer electronic products. On November 30th, this year, Finlux direct was set up in the UK to offer the latest technology products at competitive prices with beneficial payment terms and shorter (than usual) delivery times. That’s what we call a happy Finnish.
